This three-storey single-family home in Squamish was built on a challenging sloped site, requiring a pile foundation to protect a nearby retaining wall. The project also involved the design of several large retaining walls to stabilize the structure.
One of the standout features is the expansive downhill-facing windows, which required a rare, three-floor combination of Simpson Strong walls to ensure structural support.
In addition to structural elements, we are providing complete building envelope services, including window water testing and ensuring the envelope of the house is properly completed. Our energy advisors also ensured compliance with the Energy Step Code to meet efficiency standards.
