Junior Structural Engineer

Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Junior Structural Engineer located in Vancouver, BC. You will primarily work in the office, with some flexibility to work from home, but attendance at client and company meetings is required.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting structural engineering procedures, including drafting and preparing stamped drawings.
- Collaborating with technical and office staff on drawings and documents.
- Performing structural analysis and design for wood frames.
- Preparing reports and technical documents as required by clients.
- Communicating with clients and contractors.
- Preparing, advising, and stamping structural documents and drawings for new and retrofit projects.
- Providing structural engineering support during construction, attending site meetings, and conducting occasional field reviews.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering
- You must be REGISTERED or able to register with the EGBC as an Engineer in Training.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with residential single-family homes.
- Knowledge of Wood, Steel, and Concrete.
- Experience with AutoCAD is an asset.
- Proficient in the BC Building Codes.
- You MUST reside in Metro Vancouver or the Lower Mainland & be legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Valid driver’s license.
What we offer:
- The salary for this position ranges from $65,000 to $75,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. We are looking for a member that will play a role in expanding our digital presence, driving business development efforts, and supporting proposal writing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating and formatting various marketing documents.
- Assisting in the coordination of firm proposals and pursuits, ensuring alignment with client needs and company standards.
- Assisting with generating external advertisements
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to promote our engineering services.
- Manage and optimize Instagram and LinkedIn profiles.
- Create engaging content including posts, articles, and videos to highlight company projects, expertise, and industry insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate innovative ideas for marketing strategies & identify business development opportunities.
- Utilize digital analytics tools to monitor and enhance performance
Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office as a minimum. Familiarity with additional Creative Suite applications and WordPress would be an asset.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and strategies.
- Proficiency in social media platforms, especially Instagram and LinkedIn.
