Building Envelope Engineering
Building envelope engineering is sometimes required when the envelope assemblies seem not to be performing in the manner in which they were designed. In some cases, an investigation may be required.
Investigations are not intended to show fault or error in assemblies; they assist in finding solutions and provide options in remediating the envelope assemblies so they may perform as intended.
Building envelope engineering can include investigative purposes, as well as prevent common errors in construction with proper building envelope design. They can assist build assemblies that meet and exceed building code requirements, and follow best practice construction methods.
