Adrian Kanjer, Building Envelope Technologist
Adrian carries a diverse set of construction management and energy advising skills, which enables him to solve complex building engineering problems in a holistic manner, particularly when it comes to building science and envelope design. His experience includes designing and constructing a net-zero energy house in Vancouver, along with detailing high performance building envelope systems. Adrian is also an energy specialist who can identify energy saving opportunities with respect to heat loss through envelope assemblies.
Adrian holds a Bachelors Degree of Technology in Construction Management and a Diploma in Architectural and Building Engineering Technology from BCIT. In addition, he has certificates in Building Energy and Resource Management, AutoCAD Drafting, and has passed the Certified Energy Manager examination through CIET. He also completed the Sustainable Community Development program at SFU and the Sustainability Management program at UBC, where he learned how to implement sustainable practices within communities and organizations
Adrian is passionate about developing high quality buildings that are designed and built to enhance health and comfort, increase energy efficiency, and reduce environmental impact.
